Job summary

Daikin Applied Ltd. in Marietta, GA seeks an Applied Systems Branch Sales Manager to lead the office sales team and drive growth across ARI markets. You will steer a five-year plan, manage margins, and coordinate with Marketing to shape product strategy and represent ancillary offerings.

You will coach sales engineers, manage the CRM-driven pipeline, and work with HR on performance plans. Prior experience in HVAC sales and with consultants is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years related sales engineering experience.
• 8+ years of people leadership experience.
• Sales management experience within a commercial HVAC environment.
• Prior experience working with engineering consultants and basis of design.
• LEED, environmental, or “green” experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to establish a five-year business plan including ARI share growth and market focus.
• Determine gross margin expectations for the office and provide direction to achieve those margins.
• Lead sales efforts through sales engineers and manage pipeline, backlog, and opportunities via CRM.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align product development plans and secure representation of ancillary products.
• Drive sales activity through capstone strategies and coach staff for higher closure probability.
• Coach, mentor, and develop sales engineers with performance plans.
• Partner with General Manager and HR to manage performance expectations and support professional growth.
• Educate Architects and Consultants on Daikin Applied value for Green/LEED projects.
