Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC, Prime Video, seeks an Applied Scientist to own the end-to-end development of AI solutions for personalized experiences across devices. You will build and guide machine learning models from the ground up and collaborate with engineers and product managers to deploy production-ready systems.

You will conduct offline and online experiments, publish research findings, and stay at the forefront of DL, GenAI, and RL techniques to impact millions of Amazon customers globally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building models for business applications.
• PhD or Master’s degree and 4+ years of CS/CE/ML experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, HPC.
• Experience using Unix/Linux.
• Experience in professional software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI solutions for Prime Video personalization systems using Deep Learning, GenAI, Reinforcement Learning, and optimization methods.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design, implement, and launch AI solutions end-to-end.
• Design and conduct offline and online (A/B) experiments to evaluate proposed solutions based on data analyses.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to teammates and stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in modeling techniques and publish research findings.
