Amazon's Modeling and Optimization (MOP) Team is seeking an Applied Scientist to design and optimize models for Amazon's global transportation and fulfillment network. You will work on end-to-end optimization, from data pipelines to scalable model deployment.

Ideal candidates have a PhD or MS with 4+ years of experience, strong programming skills (Java, C++, Python), and a track record of applying operations research, data mining, and parallel computing to real-world problems.

• PhD or Master’s degree with 4+ years of science/engineering experience.
• Strong experience building models for business applications.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python and related languages.
