As an Applied Scientist, you will collaborate with engineers and scientists to advance training and inference pipelines, including emerging LLM-based systems, and help scale GenAI workloads responsibly at Amazon Ads.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building models for business applications.
• PhD or MS with 4+ years in CS/CE/ML or related field.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable ML models and optimization strategies to solve business problems.
• Conduct research on new ML modeling approaches for Sponsored Products.
• Enhance scalability, automation, and efficiency of large-scale training and real-time inference systems.
• Pioneer the development of LLM inference infrastructure to support GenAI workloads at Amazon Ads scale.
