Job summary
Amazon is seeking a Principal Applied Scientist for Sponsored Products and Brands to lead Gen AI initiatives, shaping product experiences and overseeing production of state-of-the-art AI models. Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant technical field.
- 7+ years working with Data & AI technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage).
- Experience designing or architecting scalable systems.
- 7+ years collaborating with engineering teams.
- 7+ years of product or program management experience.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects across inception to deployment and improvements.
- Interface across product, science, and engineering teams within Ads and Retail.
- Drive fast delivery with autonomy and efficiency; manage partners and timelines.
- Recommend alternative technical approaches and translate vision into actionable plans.
