Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Applied Scientist for Sponsored Products and Brands to advance GenAI-based shopper insights and scalable ML solutions. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deploy real-time GenAI enhancements that improve ad relevance and customer experience at scale across Amazon Ads worldwide.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years building production models, a PhD or MS with ML focus, and strong coding in Java, C++, or Python.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with CS/ML/CE focus
• Production ML systems experience preferred
• Proficiency in Java/C++/Python
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures and data processing

Responsibilities

• Leverage Generative AI and LLMs to derive shopper insights identifying experience gaps and opportunities.
• Design scalable ML and GenAI models focusing on shopper intent and preference.
• Partner with engineering to deploy GenAI solutions into production for real-time customer-facing systems.
• Drive scalable model training and real-time inference infrastructure for GenAI workloads at scale.
• Design and run A/B experiments to quantify the business impact of GenAI-driven insights.
• Conduct applied research in novel generative AI techniques to optimize shopper experience.
