Job summary

Amazon Ads' SPB Offsite team is seeking an Applied Scientist to lead end-to-end ML projects, build models, and scale solutions for off-store and third‑party contexts.

You will collaborate with ML, software engineering, and product teams to translate customer needs into robust, scalable systems, applying Generative AI and analytics to optimize traffic monetization and merchandise sales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building models for business applications.
• PhD or Master’s degree and 4+ years in CS, CE, ML or related field.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high‑performance computing.

Responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end ML projects with ambiguity, scale, and complexity.
• Perform hands‑on analysis and modeling of large data sets to improve traffic monetization and merchandise sales.
• Build ML models, run proofs of concept, experiment, optimize, and productionize models with software engineers.
