Job summary

CyRAD Talent Solutions is seeking an Applied Research Engineer to join an early-stage tech company, blending research and engineering to model complex physical systems.

You will translate academic work into practical simulations, build computational models, test assumptions rigorously, and communicate results clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Travel may reach ~25% and clearance eligibility is expected for on-site customer work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Research complex physical systems and develop domain understanding to model them.
• Read, evaluate, and translate technical and academic research into practical implementations.
