Job summary

Astrion in Columbia, Maryland seeks a Principal Radar Modeling Engineer to lead the development and execution of radar and RF seeker simulations. You will add new capabilities to existing models and deliver simulations to internal teams and government customers, leveraging your deep domain expertise.

You'll engage with customers and stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions, and may lead a team of engineers and software developers to design and implement these simulation

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• DoD Secret clearance required.
• 20 years of experience in sensor/system design or analysis.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Support radar and RF seeker simulations development and execution.
• Understand customer requirements and potentially lead a team of engineers and software developers to design and develop these simulation solutions.
• Prioritize new simulation tool capabilities while maintaining existing ones.
