Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Applied Data Scientist – AI Enablement to help build internal AI capabilities across the Transportation Business Group. You will design, deploy, and monitor AI solutions, identify bottlenecks, and partner with IT and stakeholders to scale the data and AI foundation.

The role evolves toward client-facing AI delivery once internal capabilities mature, with opportunities to contribute to repeatable AI services and offerings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with data engineering tools and languages.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib).
• Experience with Python and R for data science.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Identify bottlenecks in data, systems, and tooling to enable AI scaling.
