HDR, Inc. is seeking an Applied Data Scientist – AI Enablement to build internal AI capabilities within HDR’s Transportation Business Group. The role focuses on developing AI solutions, improving data foundations, and identifying bottlenecks.

Over time, it will evolve toward client-facing AI delivery and advisory services. You will design scalable AI components, manage model lifecycles, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to expand repeatable AI offerings.

Qualificações

• A degree in a closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with data engineering tools and languages such as SQL, Power Query, and Pandas.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with Python and R for data science.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions addressing internal transportation business needs.
• Build reusable AI components and data pipelines for scalable client delivery.
• Manage full model lifecycle including development, deployment, monitoring, drift detection, and retraining.
• Identify data, tooling, and governance bottlenecks; partner with IT and data architects to improve systems.
