Job summary

Pagaya is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to drive AI-enabled business transformations from the Office of the CEO, partnering across Capital Markets, Finance, and Operations. You will design and deploy practical AI solutions, automations, and intelligent agents that modernize internal workflows.

With a strong BI background and hands-on AI engineering, you will translate complex financial workflows into scalable AI systems that raise speed and precision company-wide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, BI, or software with applied AI experience.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and BI tool expertise.
• Hands-on with modern LLM APIs, agents, and RAG architectures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives and teams.
• Adaptable, able to manage multiple complex projects under deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/DS/IS/Finance/Engineering or related field.
• Nice to have exposure to financial services or capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Embedded AI development across AI-enabled workflow transformations in OCEO/OOP and beyond.
• Workflow automation: build AI tools, copilots, and agentic workflows.
• BI and data integration: connect LLMs to data infrastructure and dashboards.
• Cross-functional execution with leadership, finance, and capital markets teams.
• Rapid prototyping and scalable deployment with enterprise data security and governance.
• Enablement and documentation to drive reusable solutions and user adoption.
