Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in the semiconductor industry, applications/ metrology.
• Strong expertise in metrology: XPS, XRF, SIMS, OCD/ODD.
• Hands-on fab experience; knowledge of deposition, etch, CMP, advanced packaging.
• Proven experience leading technical teams or customer-facing projects.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage onsite applications team, priorities, performance, development.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customer applications; manage expectations and escalations.
• Drive development, optimization, qualification of OCD, XPS, XRF, SIMS metrology applications.
• Lead complex technical investigations in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Manage projects: timelines, deliverables, resources, reporting.
• Promote BKMs, statistics, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Mgmt, Service, and Sales to address needs.
• Build customer relationships and expand Nova's solutions within the account.
• Mentor and develop team members; foster high-performance culture.
