Job summary

Integral helps federal defense, intelligence, and civilian clients modernize their applications. The Applications Team Lead oversees multiple modernization projects for PL ALTESS, guiding backlog, sprint planning, and staffing to keep initiatives on track while ensuring quality and on-budget delivery.

We seek a senior PM with extensive Agile experience, strong communication skills, and a proven record of managing budgets and resources across large projects.

Qualifications

• Senior application project management experience with Agile
• 3+ years’ experience with Agile development processes and tools
• 3+ years’ experience with Quality Assurance (AQ) testing
• 3+ years’ experience managing budgets and resources across multiple project efforts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects

Job description

Overview

The Applications Team Lead, under indirect supervision, oversees the management of multiple application modernization projects for the U.S. Army Product Lead Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PL ALTESS).

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include requirements gathering, estimating Level of Effort (LOE), drafting development stories, facilitating backlog reviews & sprint planning meetings, coordinating resources, reviewing QA results, and performing final review.
• Manages resources across each development effort and provides staffing recommendations for new or expanding projects.
• Provides budget reports to track burn rates across each project to ensure projects stay within budget.
• Manages master project schedule and reprioritizes efforts to prevent collisions.
• Works directly with customers to communicate project status.
• Works with the development teams to identify areas for improvements and gain efficiencies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Senior Application Project management experience utilizing agile development best practices.
• Three or more years’ experience with Agile development processes and tools.
• Three or more years’ experience with Quality Assurance (AQ) application testing.
• Three or more years’ experience managing budgets and resources across multiple application projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/business discipline or equivalent years of experience managing application development projects.
• Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IAVM.
