Job summary

Integral Federal, Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Team Lead to oversee all facets of database engineering and administration for PL ALTESS.

You will architect infrastructure, install and configure database software across Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and cloud environments, and maintain operations to meet strict availability and performance targets. Responsibilities include deploying databases, enforcing security standards, and producing monitoring dashboards.

Qualifications

• Senior database administration experience supporting customer applications.
• Thorough knowledge of STIGs processes and procedures.
• Ability to perform SRR and document POA&M findings.
• Experience in database administration and architecture in large enterprises.
• Five+ years of Application Server architecture experience.
• Knowledge of Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL and cloud databases.
• Knowledge of database administration responsibilities.
• Python and PowerShell knowledge is a plus.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Job description

The Database Team Lead, is responsible for all facets of engineering and administering database environments at U.S. Army Product Lead Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PL ALTESS).

• Responsibilities to include architecting infrastructure, installing, and configuring database SW products and database configuration in Oracle, Microsoft Structured Query Language (MSSQL), Post Gre SQL) POSTGRES, My Structured Query Language (MYSQL) and cloud database environments.
• Once deployed, responsible for maintaining the database environments to meet availability and performance standards.
• Assists in the scheduling of deployment activity as well as new installations databases. Responsible for developing security standards and ensuring all databases meet ALTESS and ARMY security requirements.
• Responsible for development and maintenance of database monitoring and administrative dashboards to ensure a proactive approach to database management.

Required

• Senior database administration experience deploying and managing databases supporting customer applications.
• Thorough knowledge of the Cyber Command Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) processes and procedures.
• Know how to perform a Security Readiness Review (SRR) and document the SRR findings in a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) document.
• Experience in database administration and architecture.
• Five or more years’ experience with Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of Oracle, MSSQL, POSTGRES, MYSQL and cloud database environments is required.
• Knowledge of database administration responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Python and PowerShell is a plus.
• All positions require the ability to relate to customers in a professional manner.
• Have an active DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred

• Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IAVM.
