Job summary

Cipher Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking a senior leader who will report to the CIO Services Task lead and guide a technical team embedded at a US Government partner site.

The role blends individual contribution with hands-on leadership, driving architecture, integration, and deployment initiatives. The position requires a Secret clearance, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and five years of experience, including CI/CD leadership and IaC.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with a Secret level clearance or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Math, or Physics.
• Minimum five years of post-graduate professional experience.
• Minimum of one year leading and supervising teams (last 3 years).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment approaches (containerization, micro-segmentation, IaC).
• DoD 8570 IAT II-compliant certification (e.g., Security+).
• Experience with AWS and Azure deployments, on-premises and hybrid-cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead application architecture and integration, development, and deployment initiatives.
• Oversee a 10–20 engineer team while collaborating with project management for requirements prioritization and reporting.
• Provide administrative oversight and lead by example in implementations.
