Job summary

GVI Inc. in Norfolk, VA, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, seeks an Applications System Analyst III to support MSC’s Technical Documentation Branch. The role focuses on organizing engineering records, supporting communications, and maintaining regulatory documentation for USCG and ABS.

The candidate will digitize information, manage the VTL library, and prepare documents for distribution to ships and engineers. Extensive experience in engineering/IT and strong file management are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in engineering, computer science, or information systems related field.
• Experience with engineering documentation and technical libraries.
• Strong data management and regulatory documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and technical records, including filing, organizing, and redistributing documentation.
• Assist with day-to-day operations by handling calls, emails, and inquiries.
• Maintain regulatory approval documentation from USCG, ABS, and other bodies.
