Join a Team Supporting the U.S. Maritime Mission
GVI is seeking detail-oriented and technically capable professionals to support the Military Sealift Command (MSC) Engineering Department’s Technical Documentation Branch in Norfolk, Virginia.
These positions play an important role in maintaining and supporting the engineering and technical information used by MSC personnel. As part of our team, you will provide administrative, data management, engineering documentation, and technical library support while helping ensure critical technical information is accurate, organized, accessible, and effectively distributed throughout the MSC fleet.
A key component of these positions is supporting the MSC Virtual Technical Library (VTL), an electronic repository and management system containing technical manuals, engineering drawings, engineering designs, technical references, and other mission‑critical documentation.
Our Engineering Department support team responsibilities will include:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
3 years’ experience working in the MSC technical library.
2 years’ experience using SAMM VTL applications
Trained in answering customer service requests with 6 months’ experience responding to customer service requests.
