Job summary

Citi is hiring an Apps Support Intmd Analyst to join its technology group. The role develops professional skills, handles the Apps Support procedures, and collaborates with traders and internal tech teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

The position emphasizes communication, risk assessment and the ability to work with minimal supervision across projects and releases in a hybrid environment in Pune, India.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years experience
• Basic knowledge or interest about apps support procedures, concepts and of other technical areas.
• Participation in some process improvements.
• Previous experience or interest in standardization of procedures and practices.
• Basic Business knowledge/ understanding of financial markets and products.
• Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools.
• Understands of how own sub-function integrates within the function and commercial awareness
• Evaluates (sometimes complex) situations using multiple sources of information Developed communication and diplomacy skills to persuade and influence
• Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of the business and its technology strategy
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of issue tracking and reporting using tools

• Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and business support for Citi Applications users.
• Field issues and queries from stakeholders, provide short-term resolutions and work with technology partners for long term remediation.
• Develop understanding of how apps support areas integrate to achieve business goals.
• Act as a liaison between users/traders and internal technology groups and vendors.
• Participates in disaster recovery testing.
• Participates in application releases from development, testing and deployment into production.
• Performs post-release checks and maintains technical support documentation.
• Considers implications of technology in the current environment.
• Analyzes applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities and security issues.
• Makes evaluative judgments based on factual information; resolves problems with bug fixes and support tooling.
• Directly impacts business by ensuring quality of work; collaborates with related teams.
• Exchanges ideas and information.
• Involves in Support Project items addressing Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness.
• Performs other duties as assigned and operates with limited supervision.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and team members.
• Assesses risk in business decisions and escalates/report control issues with transparency.
