PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Application Solutions Engineer to join our team on a hybrid, full-time basis. You will analyze and troubleshoot pharmacy applications, applying data engineering, SQL development, and application support to optimize data and system performance.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with modern data platforms, and the ability to drive improvements across data pipelines and application components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in relational databases and application development/support.
• Proficiency in Advanced SQL, T-SQL, PowerShell, Python.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains reports and solutions using SQL; writes and optimizes complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoots software and connectivity issues; documents resolutions and workflows in a ticketing system.
• Collaborates with stakeholders; maintains documentation for data processes and application components; communicates status across teams.
• Continuously identifies automation opportunities and process improvements.
