PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Application Solutions Engineer to join our team on a hybrid, full-time basis. You will analyze and troubleshoot pharmacy applications, applying data engineering, SQL development, and application support to optimize data and system performance.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with modern data platforms, and the ability to drive improvements across data pipelines and application components.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in relational databases and application development/support.
• Proficiency in Advanced SQL, T-SQL, PowerShell, Python.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Purpose The Application Solutions Engineer analyzes and troubleshoots pharmacy applications combining expertise in data engineering SQL development and application support This role requires strong analytical skills experience with modern data platforms and the ability to optimize both data and application systems

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains reports and solutions using SQLWrites and optimizes complex SQL queries for performance and scalabilityImplements performance tuning for data pipelines and application componentsProvides technical support for specialty pharmacy applications and related systems
• Troubleshoots software and connectivity issues; escape when appropriateCommunicates complex technical issues clearly to non technical end usersDocuments issues resolutions and workflows in a ticketing systemMonitors and reports trends recurring issues and opportunities for improvementCollaborates with end users and support teams to resolve system issues
• Collaboration & Documentation Works closely with stakeholders to gather requirements solve issues and deliver solutionsMaintains comprehensive documentation for data processes application components and query optimizationsCommunicates status updates and technical details effectively across teams
• Continuous Improvement Stays current with emerging technologies programming languages and industry trendsIdentifies opportunities for automation and process improvementObserves and report trends recurring issues and areas for enhancement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum of four 4 years of experience in relational databases and application developmentsupport
• Proficiency inAdvanced SQL T SQL PLSQLPowerShellPython or similar programming languages
• Strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or specialty pharmacy
• Familiarity with WellSky applications
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data standards
• Understanding Agile methodologies and CICD tools Azure DevOps
• Proficiency in ETL toolsWeb development skills HTML CSS JavaScript C ASPNET
