Job summary

TREATT is seeking an Applications Scientist in Lakeland, FL to support customers with tailored solutions and collaborate with the commercial team to meet customer needs. You will aid development and validation of Treatt products and stay current with the latest technologies, sharing knowledge with colleagues.

You will join a busy department, manage a heavy workload, and bring your own personality to the role while supporting customers and internal teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a food-related field or science.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Experience handling ingredients for F&F and FMCG industries.
• Experience conducting risk assessments.
• Experience developing new products and implementing new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide demo support for sales visits and ensure demos are created/despatched on time.
• Accurately compound beverage formulas.
• Create complex applications using product portfolio knowledge.
• Support in evaluating flavors for briefs/research projects and portfolio evaluation.
• Assist sensory testing and participate in taste panels and project evaluations.
