Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to leverage scientific expertise in the beverage flavor space and drive complex customer engagements on a national scale.

You will partner with the commercial team to deliver custom flavor solutions, educate customers on product usage, and collaborate with consultants and startups to position our technology. This is an on-site role in Hoffman Estates, IL with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or another relevant scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Experience in food ingredients and product development with strong technical foundation.
• Strategic, results-driven approach to developing new business and winning accounts.
• Proven ability to position technical, value-added solutions and build trusted customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen partnerships in the beverage space, supporting the sale of our flavors portfolio to US customers.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to bring custom solutions for a broad base of customers.
• Act as technical expert of Sensient products and educate customers on value and usage.
• Work with consultants, development houses, and startups to position our products and technology.
