Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Application Engineer- Trainer to empower internal teams to support, develop, integrate, and troubleshoot Multisite products. You will translate refrigeration and building automation concepts into practical learning experiences and guidance.

The role emphasizes technical credibility, clear communication, and a friendly, supportive approach, reporting to the Multisite Engineering Manager. On-site work at Honeywell facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of refrigeration or building automation controls experience with hands-on programming and troubleshooting.
• 4+ years of explaining complex concepts clearly and adapting to diverse learners.
• 4+ years of written and verbal technical communication and training experience.
• 4+ years of teaching or coaching technical audiences one-on-one or in groups.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach internal teams to develop site-level applications for refrigeration and building automation.
• Teach integration of Honeywell and third-party equipment into Tridium Niagara-based software.
• Create hands-on learning activities to install, configure, and test applications.
• Lead deep-dive troubleshooting sessions and apply structured methods.
• Explain how to read drawings and translate design requirements into deployable applications.
• Partner with RD&E/Programming, Offering Management, and HBOC to identify training needs and content.
• Coach teams through pilots, initial programming, and handoffs of Multisite applications.
• Deliver instruction via tutoring, classes, virtual sessions, videos, and written materials; gather feedback.
