Job summary

Bosch seeks an Engineering Trainer - Commercial HVAC Applications to join the Home Comfort Factory Training team. The role develops and delivers advanced, application-focused training for specifying engineers, design-build contractors, and bid-spec reps, promoting Bosch, FHP, and Hitachi systems.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in light commercial rooftops, WSHP, and 3-phase VRF systems, with strong presentation skills and travel readiness (up to 30%).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC industry experience with a strong background in commercial system design and application.
• Demonstrated experience with engineering firms and the bid-spec process.
• Expertise in light commercial rooftop units, WSHP systems, and 3‑phase VRF systems.
• Proven experience in technical training, application engineering, or specification-focused sales.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-level technical presentations, seminars, and workshops for engineering firms and design professionals.
• Create and maintain a library of technical sales and design tools, including guides, BIM objects, and master specifications.
• Translate product features into performance benefits for design/specification processes.
• Deliver training on Bosch’s expanded portfolio including RTUs, VRF, and WSHP systems; cover industry trends like electrification and decarbonization.
• Serve as a technical authority for Bosch commercial HVAC systems and provide guidance to internal and external partners.
• Support specification community with system design, energy modeling, and project-specific specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Quality teams on updates and codes (ASHRAE 90.1).
• Partner with manufacturers’ reps and distribution for technical training and calls on engineering firms.
• Develop content for industry events and professional organizations to promote Bosch leadership.
• Gather feedback from engineering community to inform product development.
