Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Application Engineer-Testing to develop and maintain test applications and lab environments for HVAC and building automation systems. You will validate new equipment, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with RD&E and project teams to define scope and support deployment.

You will read electrical and mechanical drawings, translate design requirements to executable applications, and ensure safety and compliance in all activities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HVAC, refrigeration, or building automation controls; includes programming, config, install, and troubleshooting.
• 4+ years building and validating lab/benchtop test environments and integrations across Honeywell and third-party platforms.
• 4+ years with building automation testing tools, automated test frameworks, and system validation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test applications, tools, and procedures for Honeywell and third-party hardware/software.
• Build and maintain lab/benchtop test environments; install and validate new applications at sites.
• Plan and execute hardware/software testing; document reproducible findings and resolutions.
