Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Application Engineer to develop site-level applications for refrigeration and building automation, integrating new equipment with Tridium Niagara software, and testing in lab environments. You will troubleshoot complex software/hardware issues and translate MEP design requirements into deployable apps.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in refrigeration or building automation controls, including programming, installation, and troubleshooting.
• 4+ years of experience developing, programming, or configuring building automation or refrigeration control systems.
• 4+ years of experience interpreting architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings and troubleshooting HVAC or refrigeration systems.
• 4+ years of experience working with engineering teams, end users, contractors, and project managers, including experience with networking protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.

Responsibilities

• Develop site-level applications to meet customer requirements for refrigeration and building automation systems.
• Integrate new Honeywell & third-party equipment into Tridium Niagara-based software products.
• Install, configure, and test new applications for Honeywell & third-party hardware in lab or benchtop.
• Perform technical deep dives into software & hardware issues.
• Translate MEP design requirements into applications with minimal programming for at-site deployment.
• Interface with RD&E/Programming teams, Offering Management, and End Users for project definition and support.
