Circuit Check, a global leader in test systems, seeks an Applications Engineer in Maple Grove, MN to bridge engineering and customer needs. You will translate technical capabilities into business value, prepare proposals, high-level system designs, and support engineered test solutions.

You will travel up to 5% to client sites, collaborate with engineers and sales, and help ensure post-delivery success while maintaining confidentiality of IP and working with ERP (IFS).

Competenze

• Electrical and Mechanical technical competency to effectively provide sales and application support
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with all stakeholders, project team members, management, clients, etc.
• Ability to present proposals
• Solid analytical skills; able to resolve very complex technical problems with innovative solutions
• Capacity to deal with a high workload and deadline pressure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Requires a strong initiative, proactive nature and a sense of urgency
• Ability to occasionally travel to client locations for meetings (<5%)
• Ability to work extended hours as necessary to meet deadlines
• Maitains confidentiality and security of intellectual property (CUI-ITAR, Prototype)
• Working with ERP (IFS).

Mansioni

• Interpret product specifications with engineers, clients, and suppliers.
• Develop detailed design configurations, costing, and quotations; participate in pricing strategy.
• Occasional on-site visits to clients to gather data and guidance on complex system proposals.
• Collaborate to ensure project margin goals are obtained.
• Transfer project scope details to the project team after award.
• Document all customer contact to keep stakeholders informed.
• Modify proposals for ROM, budget, and build-to-print opportunities.
• Provide proposal presentation support to Management/Sales.
• May generate CAD concepts for proposals when needed.
• Maintain technical understanding of Circuit Check products and competitors.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, Sales and CCI personnel.
• Report status of customer support, quotation support, and application sales projects.
• Assist the Project Manager with internal technical coordination as needed.
