Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Applications Engineer to join our hybrid team in the US. The role focuses on technical sales support, defining scope of work with customers, and translating technical needs into ROM/SOW inputs for proposals.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to develop cost estimates and project plans while advancing product line roadmaps and customer solutions. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar; relevant technical background.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, engineering, marketing or technical sales.
• Experience in food, dairy or beverage process systems; reading P&IDs and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support by defining scope of work with customers.
• Represent Bevcorp’s portfolio and understand JBT Marel's products to support sales.
• Present technical presentations outlining capabilities.
• Develop cost estimates and project proposals.
• Collaborate with sales for future opportunities and track status.
• Work with procurement, engineering, manufacturing and installation teams to ensure smooth pre-sale information flow.
• Address customers' technical concerns with team support.
