Job summary

JBT Marel Corporation is seeking an Applications Engineer to support technical sales and deliver pre‑sale engineering. The role focuses on defining scopes, assisting with proposals, and aligning Bevcorp and JBT Marel product offerings with customer needs.

Travel up to 50% is expected as onsite collaboration with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams drives ROM/SOW development and technical presentations to secure opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, engineering, marketing, or technical sales.
• Experience in food, dairy, and beverage process systems.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams to develop ROM and SOW solutions.
• Identify and define technical requirements to support quoting and proposals.
• Provide technical sales support by defining scope of work and customer needs.
• Present Bevcorp and JBT Marel portfolio capabilities to customers.
• Develop cost estimates and project proposals for opportunities.
• Support future project opportunities, quoting activity, and sales status.
• Gather market intelligence to improve estimating and sales processes.
• Coordinate with procurement and design teams to ensure pre-sale information flow.
• Resolve customers’ technical concerns with the team’s support.
