Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Applications Engineer to support technical sales and develop scope of work with customers. The role focuses on translating customer needs into ROM/SOW inputs for quoting and proposals.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, project management and manufacturing to deliver accurate estimates and compelling technical solutions that align with Bevcorp and JBT Marel portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar with technical experience.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, engineering, marketing or technical sales.
• Experience in food, dairy and beverage process systems.
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs, blueprints and process data.
• Experience in developing proposals and presenting technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support by defining scope of work with customers.
• Represent Bevcorp's product portfolio and understand JBT Marel's offerings.
• Present technical presentations and support pre-sale activities.
• Develop cost estimates and project proposals with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement and manufacturing on pre-sale processes.
