Job summary

Teledyne Cable Solutions, part of Teledyne Marine Interconnect Solutions, seeks an export applications engineer to bridge engineering, manufacturing and customers worldwide. You will lead export jurisdiction and classification and translate customer specs into cable solutions for regulatory compliance across global markets.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills are required.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate into practical solutions is required.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability is required.
• Knowledge of export jurisdiction and classification (e.g., ITAR) is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer specifications into standard and engineered-to-order cable and interconnect solutions.
• Serve as the site lead for export jurisdiction and classification (J/C) activities.
• Support technical discussions with customers in both pre- and post-sales phases.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to support business development.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on new product introductions and assembly support.
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, application notes, and specifications.
• Ensure solutions meet customer expectations, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Train internal teams on newly developed products and assemblies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
