Job summary

Sales Talent, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to size, select, and integrate a new motor into customer machines across North America. You will run demos, integration calls, and on-site installs with the sales team.

The role requires 2–3+ years in motion control or robotics, strong CAD (Fusion or SolidWorks), and knowledge of Python, PLCs, and industrial protocols. Hybrid/remote Canada-based role with base salary and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years as an applications engineer in motion control or robotics.
• CAD proficiency with Fusion or SolidWorks is required.
• Familiarity with Python and PLC programming, plus industrial protocols Modbus, EtherNet/IP, or CAN.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery and fit analysis for key accounts: sizing, integrating the motor into customer machines.
• Lead demos, integration calls, and on-site installations across North America with the sales team.
• Turn customer feedback into product input and technical documentation for R&D.
