Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks an Applications Engineer to support North America Offshore operations, focusing on run life improvements for completions and well intervention equipment. You will collaborate across teams to analyze failures and guide field service and engineering actions, delivering RCA reports and actionable insights.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years in engineering/tech support, strong English communication, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Be fluent in English (oral and written) and have excellent all-round communication skills.
• Have knowledge in Microsoft office package to acquire information needed to develop written RCA reports.
• Experience with Failure Analysis and customer-facing technical support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with Operations Management, Product Line Technical Support and the external Customer to ensure objectives are met.
• Provide instruction on deployment and interpretation of Smart Intervention tools.
• Lead customer response teams when high impact failures are encountered.
• Develop customer root cause analysis reports on failure modes and criticality analysis.
