Job summary
Baker Hughes Gruppe in the United States (LA, Broussard) invites applications for an Applications Engineer to join the SIS Product Regional reliability and applications team, supporting North America Offshore operations. You will drive run life improvement actions for Baker Hughes products in a cross-functional setting, including failure analysis, risk management and life cycle asset management.
You will interact daily with Operations Management and Product Line Technical Support to meet
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in Engineering/Technology.
- 3+ years of experience in Technology Support.
- Experience with Completions and Well Intervention equipment.
- Knowledge of Drilling Services Applications and Logs, CWI systems.
Responsibilities
- Daily interaction with Operations Management and Product Line Technical Support to meet objectives.
- Deploy and interpret Smart Intervention tools on wellsite projects.
- Provide guidance to external customers and third-party staff as needed.
- Resolve complex problems at the wellsite requiring broad product knowledge.
- Lead customer response teams for high-impact failures.
