Job summary
Flowserve US Inc in Lynchburg, Virginia is seeking a quotation and technical specialist to lead customer-facing requests, perform cost analyses, and deliver timely, accurate quotations in full compliance with site procedures and applicable codes and standards. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination.
- 3–5 years related experience.
- Knowledge of actuator specifications and engineering drawings.
- Ability to read technical journals and financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Lead customer-facing quotation and technical requests for assigned accounts.
- Provide cost analysis to deliver timely and accurate quotations.
- Coordinate with product management, engineering, R&D, QA, etc.
- Develop cost estimates and margin analyses with supply chain for non-standard quotes.
- Ensure all elements of quotation process are completed accurately and on-time.
- Review customer purchase orders for compliance to quotations and terms.
- Assist in communicating feedback on technical issues to customers.
