Job summary
Flowserve Corporation is seeking a technically driven Applications Engineer to support its Quick Response Center network and Valve Automation Business. You will translate customer and sales requirements into engineered control valve, actuator, and instrumentation solutions, working with regional teams to handle evaluation, sizing, cost estimates, and order execution.
You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and QRC operations to ensure accurate technical proposals and timely order
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years hands-on experience in control valves, automated valves, actuation systems, or flow control equipment.
- Experience as Applications Engineer, Technical Inside Sales, or Sales Support Engineer in flow control.
Responsibilities
- Technical sizing, selection, and configuration of control valves and actuators.
- Evaluate RFQs to generate complete technical and commercial proposals.
- Serve as technical sales support for regional sales reps and key accounts.
- Calculate pricing based on product cost, manufacturing needs, and sourcing.
- Conduct technical order verification and complete order preparation for manufacturing.
