Flowserve is seeking a technically strong Staff Applications Engineer to support industrial and engineered-to-order flow control solutions. This role combines engineering expertise, commercial awareness, and customer engagement to develop competitive technical solutions for complex applications across a variety of industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years in Applications Engineering or related industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and RFQs to develop solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations for pumps and valves.
• Size, select, and cost engineering flow control systems.
• Serve as liaison among customers, sales, and internal teams.
• Support pricing strategy and lead-time coordination.
• Analyze operating conditions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure order handoff and complete documentation.
