Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an Applications Engineer to support our Quick Response Center (QRC) network and Valve Automation Business. You will translate customer requirements into engineered valve, actuator, and instrumentation solutions and collaborate with regional sales, engineering, and QRC operations to size, estimate costs, and complete order execution for critical applications.

You will perform sizing and selection, develop proposals, support sales, and manage cost estimation and order review

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in control valves, automated valves, actuation systems, or flow control equipment.
• Experience as Applications Engineer/Technical Inside Sales/Sales Support within flow control manufacturing or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Perform sizing, selection, and configuration of control valves, actuators, positioners, and automation accessories.
• Evaluate RFQs to generate complete technical and commercial proposals.
• Provide technical sales support to regional sales representatives and key accounts.
• Calculate pricing based on product cost structures and manufacturing requirements.
• Review orders and prepare engineering documentation for plant manufacturing.

Flowserve is seeking a technically driven and commercially minded Applications Engineer to support our Quick Response Center (QRC) network and Valve Automation Business.
