Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a technically driven Applications Engineer to support our QRC network and Valve Automation Business. You will translate customer needs into engineered valve, actuator, and instrumentation solutions, collaborating with regional sales, engineering, and operations.

You will perform sizing/selection, cost estimation, and complete order execution for critical services. Travel up to 25% is expected, with opportunities across engineering, sales, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in control valves, actuation, or flow control.
• Experience as Applications Engineer/Technical Inside Sales or Sales Support in flow control.
• Proficiency with sizing/selection software configurators, ERP systems, and spec reviews.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits and sales support.

Responsibilities

• Technical sizing, selection, and configuration of valves, actuators, and automation accessories.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals from RFQs and inquiries.
• Provide dedicated technical sales support for regional reps and key accounts.
• Compute pricing based on cost structures and manufacturing needs; assist with order prep.
