Job summary

National Instruments is seeking Applications Engineers to collaborate with Sales and Business Development to qualify, advance, and close opportunities in the Semiconductor/Electronics sectors. You will lead technical discussions, develop demos, and build trusted advisor relationships with customers.

The role emphasizes new growth, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and hands-on use of NI hardware/software in customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS degree in engineering or CS with strong technical background.
• Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies).
• Familiarity with high-level programming languages (C, C++, C#, LabVIEW, Python).
• English language proficiency and strong communication skills.
• Work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Come join our team of Applications Engineers! In this role, you will work closely with Test & Measurement’s sales and business development teams to meet or exceed sales quota by providing technical leadership in qualifying, advancing, and closing sales opportunities. We are seeking new and recent graduates with a strong technical background and customer-focused mentality to join a team of business and technical leaders who drive new areas of growth for T&M within the Semiconductor/Electronics industries!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Interacting with customers to understand their technical and operational requirements and recommend appropriate T&M solutions
• Creating proof-of-concepts with T&M NI hardware and software for demonstrations to customers
• Building relationships and trust with customers and account managers
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on product feedback and contribute towards technical initiatives

For this Role, You Will Need:

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree with an engineering or computer science concentration
• Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (e.g., Power supplies, DMMs, Scopes, function generators, etc.)
• Familiarity with high-level programming language (e.g., C, C++, C#, LabVIEW, Python, etc.)
• English language proficiency
• Effective oral, written, presentation and communication skills
• Effective collaboration skills
• Work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
