Job summary

Fathom Digital Manufacturing in the United States seeks an Applications Engineer to support customers and the sales team in delivering manufacturable, cost‑effective solutions for plastic injection molding. This role touches every step from RFQ intake to final delivery.

You will interpret GD&T, perform DFM reviews, and collaborate with domestic and international suppliers to ensure accurate quoting and on‑time project execution.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret GD&T and technical drawings.
• Experience with CNC, Urethane Cast, and Injection Molded parts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with ISO, ITAR, or AS9100 environments.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, CAD files, and drawings for completeness and manufacturability.
• Provide clear DFM feedback and collaborate on design revisions.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing for accurate quoting.
• Manage projects from PO through delivery and track milestones.
