Job summary

SPX Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer in Cincinnati area.

You will be the primary technical resource for the Strobic sales team, working with regional managers, reps, and customers to identify specifications and determine requirements for integrating SPX products into customer applications. The role requires 3+ years in application engineering, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering technical solutions aligned with product

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience in an application engineering role.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with cross-function teams.
• Familiarity with application engineering principles and ability to coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical resource for the Strobic sales team and customers.
• Collaborate with regional sales managers and customers to identify technical specifications.
• Provide design and specification development support for sales reps and customers.
• Respond to RFIs/RFQs and convey customer requirements.
• Conduct product training for sales personnel and customers.
• Assist product development by communicating trends and needs in the marketplace.
• Evaluate customer needs and provide technical solutions that fit the product portfolio.
• Develop up-front strategies to maximize winning bids.
• Develop engineering notes and design documentation.
• Participate in developing new engineering processes and systems.
