Job summary

Mastercam is seeking an Applications Engineer II to bridge technology and customer success in the West region. This role provides expert technical support, training, and solutions to Mastercam customers, helping users maximize the value of Mastercam products.

The position is based in the Phoenix Metro Area, AZ, with up to 25% travel. You will analyze workflows, demonstrate capabilities, create toolpaths and training materials, and collaborate with product management to drive enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of CAD/CAM programming or application engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software.
• Strong CNC programming knowledge including milling, turning, multi-axis.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including customer site visits, trade shows, and international events.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support to customers and channel partners by troubleshooting technical issues related to Mastercam products.
• Analyze customer workflows and recommend tailored solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
• Assist sales teams with product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proofs of concept.
• Develop custom toolpaths, templates, macros, technical documentation, and training materials.
• Deliver in-person and online training and hands-on product demonstrations for customers, channel partners, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with product management and development teams to provide customer feedback and insights for product enhancements.
