Legrant is seeking an Applications Engineer I to provide technical support and engineering expertise for Starline busway products in customer projects. You will develop busway layouts, create technical documentation, and assist with product testing and certifications, both remotely and onsite.

This role targets an early-career Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree, strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and collaborate with customers and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Design busway layouts based on customer drawings and input.
• Create technical documents: catalog sheets, FAQs, briefs, reports, installation instructions.
• Support sales and customers on ratings, codes (NEC/UL), safety, functionality, and troubleshooting.
