Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence in Ohio is seeking an Applications Engineer I to provide technical sales support, perform metrology demonstrations, and evaluate product performance.

You will deliver demonstrations, train customers, and work with regional sales to tailor solutions. Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically is required, with collaboration across engineering and marketing on product development.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering/math or related field.
• 6+ months in manufacturing/quality engineering or similar.
• Experience with PC-DMIS software.
• Knowledge of metrology systems and processes.
• Strong communication and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hardware and software product demonstrations to customers.
• Communicate product capabilities and benefits for complex applications.
• Assist regional sales by recommending solutions.
• Prepare operating instructions and deliver training programs.
• Maintain positive customer relationships through support.
• Develop and deliver technical training classes.
• Create programs and applications meeting customer specs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Verify program performance through testing.
• Analyze and modify programs to improve performance.
• Manage technical issues from identification to resolution.
• Stay current with advancements in application engineering.
• Collaborate with engineering and marketing on product development.
