Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and optimize high-precision CMM systems at customer sites. You will troubleshoot complex mechanical/electronic systems, operate with minimal supervision, and contribute to product improvements through customer feedback.

The role features regional travel, hands-on work with innovative metrology technologies, and opportunities to grow within a global leader in industrial intelligence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
• Microsoft Windows operating system knowledge.
• Mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and travel regionally.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with CMM machines or industrial automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain high-tech CMM machines at customer sites.
• Provide technical expertise and training to customers on machine operation and upkeep.
• Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to implement customer feedback in future products.
• Work independently while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
• Complete service reports and provide feedback to continuously improve services.
• Travel regionally and interact with a wide range of clients and industries.
