Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking an HVS Application Engineer who leads the RFQ-to-close process for electrical machines. You will communicate with Field Sales, customers, and factories, and develop industry experience through research and site visits.

Responsibilities include reviewing RFQs, driving quotations, and organizing documentation while supporting project teams. 1–3 years in application engineering with MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of experience as Application Engineer in Electric Machines.
• Strong knowledge of electrical machines and their applications.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Field Sales, Customers and factories.
• Understand the application, OEMs, and customer visits.
• Develop industry experience through research, conferences, and site visits.
• Review RFQs and determine quotation strategy with feedback from Sales or customers.
• Prepare and compile accurate quotations for WEG offerings.
