Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Hands-on experience in materials characterization or semiconductor failure analysis.
• Experience in an applications laboratory, engineering environment or customer-facing technical role.
• Knowledge of semiconductor devices or advanced materials systems is beneficial.
• Experience documenting technical notes, SOPs or similar procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally (20-30%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise sample preparation methods for semiconductors and other materials.
• Prepare customer samples to support pre-sales evaluations and demonstrations.
• Investigate technical challenges and develop practical application solutions.
• Provide on-site and remote customer training on equipment operation and methodologies.
• Deliver post-sales technical support and troubleshooting via various channels.
• Travel internationally approximately 20-30% to support customer visits and events.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, application notes and SOPs.
