Job summary

Delve Search - Global Search Consultants is seeking a hands-on Controls Engineer for advanced semiconductor equipment. You will develop, integrate and improve next-generation process and test systems, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to deliver high-precision control solutions.

The role emphasizes embedded controls, C/C++ software, microcontroller-based hardware, and robotics/automation expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
~5 years' experience in semiconductor equipment or similar high-tech environment.
Strong C/C++ programming experience.
Experience with embedded control systems and microcontrollers.
Familiarity with PLCs and modular automation platforms.
Hands-on, technically curious approach to engineering.

Responsibilities

Develop, integrate and improve next-generation process and test equipment.
Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, software and process engineers to solve technical challenges.
Own control systems from development through deployment, including embedded controls and firmware.
Work across embedded controls, firmware, robotics, sensors and instrumentation to ensure robust designs.
Lead diagnostics, testing and validation of complex equipment architectures.
